A former K&B intern who went on to be employed by the station, he is best known for leaving drunken messages on the AFRO line and for being willing to do just about anything to entertain the Kevin and Bean audience. Beer Mug’s exploits include various eating world record attempts (he never comes close), snorting various substances (including Hot Cheetos) and his willingness to be tasered on the air (which management vetoed). His nickname comes from a tattoo he has on his foot.

A popular radio and TV personality who got his start as a contributor on the Kevin and Bean Show. Adam eventually became competition to K&B when he got his own morning show that took over Howard Stern’s spot in L.A. and in several other western cities. When that show was eventually canceled, Adam segued into a popular podcast and a weekly segment on K&B called “This Week in Rage”.

Known as The Virgin Kennedy, a former morning show intern who became a KROQ disc jockey and later an MTV veejay.

Current late night talk show host who his start as the Kevin and Bean sports reporter. Annually, he returns to the show to reprise his role as “Santa” Karl, an inappropriately crass Santa Claus character who takes calls from children in the voice of basketball player Karl Malone.

The nickname for former producer Jay Tilles, based on his slow movements. After getting a lightning bolt tattoo, the cast temporarily refused to refer to him as “Lightning” and instead called him “DJ Tweeter”, a reference to the pitch of his voice.

The name also gave way to a segment “Lightning Strikes” during which Lightning’s absurd opinions are aired and ridiculed.

Michael Burton, an actual maintenance man in the building where KROQ had its studios, he came to be an active member of the show, performing man-on-the-street interviews and making public appearances. In the fall of 1995, Burton left the show and filed a wrongful-termination suit charging the station along with Kevin and Bean with racial and religious discrimination. The suit was settled in late 1996.

Former Kevin and Bean sports reporter, now does pre-game, post-game, and half-time reports for the Los Angeles Lakers on AM570. He also co-hosts a drive time sports talk show with Petros Papidakis, himself a frequent guest of the Kevin and Bean show, titled “The Petros and Money Show (or PMS)” Monday through Friday from 4-7 on AM570.

Due to budget restraints, K&B never found a permanent replacement for Money, so Money returns or calls in from time to time when big sports events are in the news. Among the topics that come up is the annual bet between Money and Bean over whose baseball team will do better. Bean has had to pay Money “100 credits” for 7 years running and often sends the money as inconveniently as possible, such as in Susan B. Anthony dollars, 100 separately-mailed singles, and in pesos.

A former cast member, would call in from remote contest events and at times travels to announce contest winners in person. In the past, he has contributed “The Whole Enchilada” segments which put a comic spotlight on issues in the Latin community.

A former staff member, known for being overweight and incompetent, he was fired and rehired by Kevin and Bean several times. He would also drive the KROQ van and give out prizes at various public locations. He was later given a job by Jimmy Kimmel and was seen on Jimmy Kimmel Live several times. Tad later worked on Carolla’s radio show.

Sports reporter played by stand-up comedian Paul Cesario. The character of Waterhouse was a stereotypical bombastic sports reporter who spoke in a mealy-mouthed voice and used rickety metaphors. He was replaced by Jimmy Kimmel.
